Strategic session on finding the future of the company

"If you want to see what needs to change in an organization, you have to be sensitive to the environment. With your mind and with your feelings."
The strategy session is designed for an organization seeking to identify the causes of its stagnation and to find a new axis of attraction around which to focus its activities. The session is attended by executives and members of their teams.

SESSION VALUE
  • A new unifying purpose-meaning for the organization.
  • Emerged future direction and perspective of the organization's development.
  • Created new conditions for a breakthrough in the organization.
  • Developed a new organizational culture.
HOW THE SESSION WORKS

Every organization's development is unique, so there is no single development scheme, no one-size-fits-all recipe. Each session is also unique and is moderated using a psychodynamic principle. This is an unusual method of moderation, where the consultant follows the energy of the audience and uncovers their unconscious conflicts, ingrained tensions and stereotypes. The consultant provides the participants with the knowledge to change their attitudes and creates a space for new ideas to emerge.

The session, with its pre-defined purpose and structure, is a living process: flexible responses are provided when important aspects of the organization's work become apparent during the session.

PARTS OF THE SESSION

Day 1. A mirror of the organization's performance.

Situational diagnosis: the team sees the current challenges, the operational problems and the deeper underlying causes. The session uses projective diagnosis and visualization techniques.

Day 2. Uncovering new opportunities and developing a shared vision.

Structuring the organization's baseline information. Uncovering the differences between team members and explaining how to turn them into an advantage. The session concludes with the planning of decisions, actions and responsibilities. A new shared vision for the organization is developed using the Business Model Canvas methodology.

Short lectures and practices are integrated into the session process as appropriate.
